As per the MEES regulations, signing new tenancy agreements for properties with EPC ratings below E is now illegal. Unless exempted, properties must achieve at least an E rating. If not met during the initial visit, the EPC will offer recommendations for improvement. Following implementation of the recommendations, a revisit is necessary to update photographic evidence and capture improvements.
